The 13th Floor Elevators front man Roky Erickson is one of Rock-N-Roll’s greatest voices as well as one of it’s greatest tragedies. I wish I had the time or the space to tell the story but it’s too much and I’d inevitably leave something out. If you have a Netflix account run over to the site and watch “You’re Gonna Miss Me” it’s a documentary on his life and trials.
