Sometimes you miss something that comes out. Sometimes you just need to go back and listen to music again. If you aren’t up on Zo! or his …Just Visiting series, then you should do some digging. The extended Foreign Exchange family member knocks out his covers, with help from Anthony David, Eric Roberson, Phonte, Sy Smith and more. Check out their version of Steely Dan’s “Black Cow” below “Uptown baby, Uptown baby” and you can grab the album by clicking below.

Van Hunt is back with a new album called What Were You Hoping For? After the mediocre reception from his new-label, Blue Note, of his last album Popular, he brings us a rock-infused collection of tracks, that I must say I’m pretty impressed with so far. “Eyes Like Pearls” is his lead-single, but I think the opening track “North Hollywood” sets a really nice tone for the entire album. The album gives me a sense of a more polished Headphone Masterpiece, there are a couple misses on it, but mostly a solid effort. I suggest getting over to Itunes and at least giving it a shot. It might be just what you’re missing today
I don’t know much about these guys but I loved this album, had like 3-4 songs I really dug on it…….
