Last night Blake Griffin dunked on Kendrick Perkins like he had no considerable feelings about Kendrick or his own welfare. Players dont do that much anymore, wide open lanes and little physical contact mean many more acrobatic dunks and less, “I just dunked all over your existance” type slams. Back in the 80s and 90s if you were going to dunk on someone you better be aware that you could come crashing down hard, get knee’d, elbowed or straight up punched. And you DID NOT dunk on certain players or in their genral direction because it then became a personal vendetta for that player to HURT you. One player that seemed to not care about these consequences was Tom Chambers. Most people remember Tom for his dunk on that midget Mark Jackson, not me….That dunk was cool and all, but this right here….this was a DUNK…..Take it to the baseline jump from one side of the basket to the otherside and dunk (Two-handed mind you) on whoever gets near you, that person here happened to be Reggie Lewis.

Good music resonates through time, weaving in and out of the past, present and future. It touches and pulls on strings just as hard now as when it was written. Gil Scott-Heron wrote songs this way, his music is just as important now as it was when it was penned. “The Bottle” is an upbeat yet somber tale written about peoples dependency on something to help get through the pains of everyday living in a country that just plain doesn’t care anymore.
Freddie Foxxx is the truth no matter what the question is add DJ Premier and it becomes truth squared….
You might not be able to get your hands on Ron’s Obama Hulk sculpture, but for 60 bones you can pick up ‘Fat Tony’……..Theeeeeeerrreeeee (wheeze…sigh…pant….pant) great…..

5th Child follows up last years self titled album (If you don’t have it click here and thank me next time you see me) with a free download In The Meantime, completely different in vane from the last album but highly enjoyable music for your ears….check out what 5th Chizzle had to say about it below
I pray that your year is off to a great and productive start. I’ve been working on new music non-stop myself, mostly features and production with a few new original joints here and there. I’ve taken this time since the last album 5th Child, which came out last May, to experiment with different types of sounds that you all haven’t exactly heard from me before. You know how I seldom do mixtapes with stuff over other people’s beats? Well this time I’m giving you a 9-track…uhh… mixbum….altape… whatever you wanna call it, lol. It’s called In the Meantime… and is available for the lofty price of FREE DOWNLOAD. It’s quite dope and has some originals as well as my interpretations of some of my favorite songs from some great artists including Mobb Deep, The Weeknd, Jay-Z & Kanye West, and even U2! Thanks as always for your continued support. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making this music. Just click this link to get the free download and be sure to send your feedback: http://5thchildmusic.bandcamp.com/album/in-the-meantimeTil next time….M’s Up!,5th
