I’m not a big fan of Don Cannon’s production, most of it is overly simplistic. Now, he chooses to talk the same Billy Paul sample that Dilla and 9th Wonder both crushed on their attempts. However, I’m not sure if it’s Jeezy’s presence, which I admit, out of all the trap rappers, he’s probably my favorite. But, when I picked up the album and this track came on, I must have listened to it 10 times in a row. It just worked so well, the introspective trap-star goes in on the track. Jeezy’s Recession album is a pretty decent album too.
