Hilton Carter is an evil genius, I say that with the utmost respect. This cat sees things differently than anyone else. I was fortunate enough to witness this genius for a month straight under the most harsh conditions. His first short film, Moth, was a testament to his vision and what it encompasses. Carter is capable of doing and says and coming up with ANYTHING. I sent him a song once to create a treatment for a possible video. He hit me back shortly after sending it with this elaborate story. I mean doing a music video for it would not have given it the proper platform. The powers that be ended up not making the video happen, shortly there after the idea and project known as Moth was born. After many awards and accolades, I can honestly say I’m glad he ended up not doing the music video. If you need to see Moth, I’m including it below.Victor follows a struggling comedian and is a perfect platform for Carter to shine, his brilliance is in his comedic view. His humor is very off, but it’s very entertaining. He finds the most odd things hilarious. In Victor he creates the perfect jerk. Victor is a vile character. He’s pretty much the inner voice for 90% of men in the world. Plus, why do I believe that the Suicide Cat is real and the catalyst for this entire short film?
VICTOR is the story of a struggling comedian, trying to work his way through an extreme case of writers block. As he fights with bad joke after bad joke, he comes to realize that the real humor is in his everyday life. You may not like him but you WILL love him.
And now, for your viewing pleasure……VICTOR!!!!!
