Big Mello hailed from Houston’s Hiram Clarke neighborhood, an especially tough section of the city. He released his first album on Rap-A-Lot Records back in 1992. His second album, Wegonefunkwichamind, is considered a “southern” classic. He lives up to his name with his laid back “mellow”, style and delivery. I also suggest picking up Southside Story as well. It doesn’t disappoint.
