The Hieroglyphics Crew is coming to a west coast/mid-west city near you, I recommend if you want a real dope experience, then you need to see em in Denver. Coloradans love them some Hiero crew. Here is their summer mixtape which will have to suffice most of us who can’t make it to see em. It’s a free download or you can get some stickers, t-shirt, keychain, etc with a simple donation to the cause.

Mr J Medeiros (The Procussions) & Pigeon John (L.A. Symphony/Rootbeer) join forces with Rational, a Canadian-born emcee who’s album The Birthwrite is available for purchase now on I-tunes. This track is a smooth, jazz type of vibe one would expect to hear during the second hip-hop golden age……I highly recommend checking the track and the album out.

Across 110th Street was featured on the soundtrack to a movie by the same name. Bobby Womack was responsible, along with J.J. Johnson, for writing and performing the material featured on the soundtrack. The movie was a gangster flick set in Harlem and starred Anthony Quinn, Yaphet Kotto, Anthony Fargas, and the King Of Cartoons himself Gilbert Lewis.
Chin Injeti has made a lot of music. Working with DJ Khalil over the past few years as a production partner he has worked with what feels like a who’s who in Hip-Hop. Injeti and Khalil’s side group, The New Royales, are so overwhelmingly talented that if their projects ever do start dropping it’s likely to take the world by STORM. Here we have Chin’s selection of tracks from some of his favorite people to work with, including Jay Electronica, David Banner, Chace Infinite, Talib Kweli, and more. Definitely check it out
BTW hey, Chin let’s never forget
This can definitely get some attention, Division II guard Angelo Sharpless, from Elizabeth City State University, gives the quiet crowd something to holler about……
