El De Menace, the black John McClane, and the water-proof Emcee would have been one hell of a super group. Ras Kass was lyrically murdering cats, Saafir was an emcee’s emcee, and Xzibit had the voice and charisma. What would have happened would have been epic, however, Priority Records……….We can only sit back and wonder what could have happened? Would it have been enough for Xzibit’s Open Bar record label to gain some ground and influence? Would it have affected his career at MTV with “Pimp my Ride”? Who knows, recently the 3 joined up at Rock The Bells for a blast from the past. Xzibit’s “Picture yourself crushing Xzibit with your tough talk, that’s like Christopher Reeves doing the crip walk” still holds up well with time, if you ask me.
