New Balance has a new 574 “Rugby Pack” for this holiday season. Now, I’ll be honest I know nary a soul who plays rugby or has ever played rugby…wait strike that, when I was 16 and worked at Footlocker my assistant manager played rugby. He was a jerk, he did stupid stuff like make a circle with his two fingers and when you looked at it he would hit you. He was a big guy, it hurt usually, he was a jerk. I hate rugby, rugby is stupid, yeah I’m looking at you Australia. Anyway, these are cool, great colorways and excellent material. The burgundy colorway is especially butter, with just the right amount of navy accents to round out the shoe. Canvas is always an excellent choice for an upper, although with the weather being what it is lately here, I might have to wait until summer to rock em.
