I know it’s a little late tonight, but shoot here you go anyway. Some classic Seatown mic-manship right here. Kid Sensation, who made his debut on Sir Mix-A-Lot’s Swass album, released his debut album, via Nastymix Records (Shout out to Nasty Nes, an incredible person), Rollin With Number One in 1990. The album was filled with 808 drums and delivered lyrically. Unfortunately, the career of the Seattle emcee takes a sharp turn down after his debut album, which leads to him leaving Nastymix and releasing some very sub-par albums.
Sir Mix-A-Lot – Square Dance Rap [feat Kid Sensation] (I remember listening to Swass on the bus on the way home from school one day in the 6th grade and it was on from there. I liked this crazy song, I don’t know why exactly, probably cause of the sheer audacity of it.)
