The Texas Rangers made a surprise draft pick today and selected Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson in the Rule 5 draft. Wilson, who has been drafted now 3 different times, and before being drafted by the Seahawks he played a couple of seasons in the Colorado Rockies farm system. Nobody expects Wilson to give up his NFL career to play in the Bigs, but I’m sure we can see him playing some baseball next spring.

If Groundhog’s Day got together with Alien and had a baby that was raised by Avatar, that baby would grow up to be Edge Of Tomorrow. Based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s “All You Need is Kill” and starring Tom Cruise, Bill Paxton and Emily Blunt, it’s a story of Bill Cage (Cruise) a LT Col who is forced to live his life from recruitment to death at the hands of an alien race invading Earth over and over again. Eventually he teams up with Rita (Blunt), a Special Forces soldier, very Uber Soldat if you ask me. Cruise keeps picking these end of Earth via Alien invasion type movies, he must be into that Scientology witchcraft……
Without Ray Charles’ music I’d be lost. He ranks right up there with Stevie, Donny, Marvin and Joni for me. As a matter of fact, I think that’s pretty much my Mt Rushmore of music right there. Enjoy Ray performing “You Don’t Know Me” live. So much emotion in his voice, it’s incredible.
