Mello Music Group is preparing to release Mandala Vol. 1, Polysonic Flows on January 24th, 2014. Their first taste from the compilation is an Oddisee Track “Invisible Walls”. A track he both produced and raps on. The album will be a work showcasing the labels ever evolving roster of emcees and producers, artist like yU, Quelle Chris, Oddisee, Georgia Anne Muldrow, L’Orange, and more.

UK producer Imperial and Sareem Poems (LA Symphony) are gearing up to release an EP together in 2014, which will be released on Illect Recordings. The first nugget from that gold mine is an ode their newly born seeds. Originally released back in March, the Sonny Rollin’s inspired instrumental was dropped by Imperial to celebrate the birth of his son. It only made since that once they decided to work together the track would get a reboot. Sareem also celebrated the birth of his first child in the past year also. A picture he eloquently paints with the verse, “I want to be the earthly father I didn’t believe in.”
