From the debut self titled album, “Fool’s Paradise” was the first single from the Sylvers. A deep and groovy track with an eerie quality. Lyrics like “I didn’t make this world, I was only born, that’s everyone’s attitude, who’s life was torn” and “Life is not what you make it, it’s what the upper class makes it seem to you” are thought provoking and impressive coming from the 19 year old Leon Sylver III, who penned the track. The first three Sylvers’ albums are a must have for any soul music fan. They are great albums.
