My favorite Whitney Houston song, it’s like the song was written for her specifically even though it was penned almost a decade earlier. It was included on Whitney’s debut album and it’s belonged to her ever since. I think it’s the perfect song to remember her by on today the second anniversary of her passing. It was written by Michael Masser (along with Linda Creed), Masser ironically ended up working with Whitney several times over here career and also wrote her hit “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”. Which is another great song to remember her by today, so here you go. Rest in Peace Whitney, you are missed, but more than that I hope you’ve found the peace and comfort that seemed to elude you at times in this life.
This is a first for me, usually I do not care for or share T-Pain’s music. However, I like the dude and think that he found a lane and exploited the mess out of it. I can’t be upset at him for any of that. And he’s made some catchy and funny pop songs. This is actually pretty dope, his take on Lorde’s “Royals”. I can dig it. It does seem like just yesterday when we were drinking Crown Royal….wait…
