Before Aloe Blacc was “The Man” he was one of the men in the hip-hop duo Emanon. Together with producer Exile since the mid-90s, they created some great music and continued to work on each others projects when on hiatus. They were residing in the Los Angeles underground scene much like the A-Team. You couldn’t attend a hip-hop show without coming in contact with Aloe. He was everywhere.
