In 1997, Rhyme & Reason was released and still serves as the best documentary on rap music. It featured appearances from a who’s who of rap industry veterans. The soundtrack featured an eclectic selection of artists giving insight into all the different sounds of the music. At the time and maybe still there was no one who stood out as much as the Wu-Tang Clan did. RZA represented the Wu on the soundtrack with “Tragedy”, it had all the Wu-Tang musts for a song. Soul, Kung-Fu, dope bassline, and pyramids were present on the track and in the video. Peace to the Gods and Earths. Wu-Tang is for the children.
