Chances are that if you are a hip-hop head then you have been privy to the music made by Kat 010. Known simply as the Keyboard Sorceress of the hip-hop collective Crown City Rockers/Mission, she has worked with a plethora of other hip-hop artists in her career. Insert Meowmix Retrospect (Vol 1), it’s a short representation of her musical journey to the present point. Plann B - Tried + True

Tried & True is a vintage boutique in LA’s famed Fairfax district, boasting an inventory of immaculately-curated shelves which contain everything from vintage Chanel bomber jackets to pristine Polo luggage. The shop has been making a lot of noise over the past couple of years, most recently hosting a little #NWTS soirée for Drizzy and a pop-up shop collaboration with Champion brand.

In an effort to capture the spirit and sensibility of Tried & True’s inventory, I opted to strictly pull tracks from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. This is a 60-minute mix of throwback selections conceived during the same era as much of the gear on Tried & True’s shelves.
