May is going to be a good month….
The James Brown Biopic is coming everybody!! Be prepared.
“They tried to kill James Brown today. Do you want to go down in history as the man who killed the funk?”
I don’t wan to get excited for this, but dang it. The Dinobots looks pretty awesome and no Shia LaBeouf is a huge plus. I’m not going to get giddy as a school girl over this movie because it will most likely stink. But, I won’t be upset if it proves me wrong either.
Forget historical accuracy and realistic depictions of past events. All we need are air brushed abs, slow motion screen shots, Black Sabbath, and blood splatter. 300: Rise Of An Empire promises to deliver on the second set of guidelines. I’ll be honest I almost stopped this until the Black Sabbath started, then I was like “YEAHHHHH and kicked over my desk…..” Movie wise? It’ll be worth a rental…maybe a rainy Sunday matinee, when Football season is over.
Ok, so the first trailer did not give enough information, NOW though I’ve seen enough. Coming to the US in March 2014 and hopefully to a theater near Jackson. The Raid:Redemption showed for like 4 days I believe.
Caesar IS NOT havin’ it……
Jenko & Schmidt are back, this time with O’Shea Jackson and they are getting white boy wasted…..looks pretty funny though…
If Groundhog’s Day got together with Alien and had a baby that was raised by Avatar, that baby would grow up to be Edge Of Tomorrow. Based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s “All You Need is Kill” and starring Tom Cruise, Bill Paxton and Emily Blunt, it’s a story of Bill Cage (Cruise) a LT Col who is forced to live his life from recruitment to death at the hands of an alien race invading Earth over and over again. Eventually he teams up with Rita (Blunt), a Special Forces soldier, very Uber Soldat if you ask me. Cruise keeps picking these end of Earth via Alien invasion type movies, he must be into that Scientology witchcraft……
Looks like May of 2014 is shaping up to be a whopper. Here we get a good look at Gareth Edward’s reboot of the Godzilla franchise. I must say this should be infinitely better than the last version…I’m looking your way Roland Emmerich….You should be able to view it on the big screen this Friday for the new Hobbit movie. Rumor is it is an updating of the origin of Godzilla into present times….and it……
“pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.”
…..WORD
The promotion machine has begun. With the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination just passing, Marvel takes a chance at some crazy promotion for their next movie. Implicating Magneto in the plot to kill the President. They even devoted an entire website to it The Bent Bullet.
X-MEN – DAYS OF FUTURE PAST (TRAILER)
For the next installment in the X-Men series, Marvel calls upon Bryan Singer (X-men, X2, X-Men First Class & Usual Suspects) again. This time in what looks to be a pretty decent. The story has been altered as Wolverine’s mind is sent back in time in the place of Kitty Pryde, who the original story takes place around. Ellen Page’s Pryde is said to have a pivotal role in the new scenario, but with the plethora of Wolverine Stans in the world, who can blame Singer for changing it. We are going to have to wait until May of next year to see. One thing is for certain, Marvel keeps on keeping on……
