Atlanta has produced some absolute monsters in the rap music industry over the years. We would be here all day if I created a list, the fact you are reading this means you should be familiar with anyone I could point out to you. Back on subject……E.R.A. is a new wave of Atlanta emcee who seems to want to break the stigma of the ATL sound. Of course, this only works when you are not aware of artists like Binkis Reks, Scienz Of Life, Mars Ill, etc. For me, he is simply carrying on tradition for the heads in GA. The musical backdrop for the project is provided by Glenn Gretzkey and Fate, E.R.A. is lyrically on point with tracks like “Coletrane”, “Felt This Way”, and “Our Turn”. I recommend this album for those who keep looking for artists that carry the torches lit back in the 80’s and 90’s. Oh, it’s free for you too, so what is your excuse?
