It’s a Beanie Sigel type of Monday. Not the Broad Street Bully Beans though, more the introspective Beanie. There is something about when Mac spits that draws you in. You believe he’s been through anything he rhymes about. A authenticity to the story he tells, he’s an emcee in the same mold as Scarface. I always thought the Face and Beans album would have been incredible.

Freeway and Jay still rocking together, even though Free got sonned at the Made In America announcement……although why in the video do they play musical air trumpets when Beans says blowin’ horns like Coltrane? Just a thought……

Man, remember when everything was right with the ROC? I rocked this song on repeat for as long as I can remember, to this day it’s on several different playlists on my Ipod…when’s the last time you saw Jigga Man in some tims and jeans????
