Raashan Ahmad, the Crown City Rocker and native, drops some new cool for us, beat by Dutch producer riPaddo. Raashan’s sound fits so perfectly over the jazzy vibes, which brings memories of the Mission/Crown City Rocker days.

Raashan Ahmad takes the opportunity to speak on the growing gun obsession. Featured on his album Ceremony which is available now, RIGHT NOW. Click the link below and purchase it. Thanks. Also, guns do not kill people, people kill people….with guns. Everyday. It’s happening right now. And now. And now again. It’s not a gun thing it’s a human respect thing, it’s a value of life thing. Viva Los Crown City Rockers…..
Chances are that if you are a hip-hop head then you have been privy to the music made by Kat 010. Known simply as the Keyboard Sorceress of the hip-hop collective Crown City Rockers/Mission, she has worked with a plethora of other hip-hop artists in her career. Insert Meowmix Retrospect (Vol 1), it’s a short representation of her musical journey to the present point. Raashan Ahmad (Crown City Rockers) + Banis + Sista K = Wilaya 49 and they link up with MicFlow (Under Kontrol Crew) while in backstage at a show in Marseille France and release this little hip-hop goody.
Do you like drums? Do you like DJs? Do you like the merging of the two? If you answered yes to 2/3 of these questions then you should download this mixtape and sit back and enjoy.
Hailing from Oakland, CA DJ Zeph (Oakland Faders) and Max MacVeety (Drummer for Crown City Rockers) known collectively as Skins & Needles, they show their Hip Hop skills on this mix. Bboy’s, hipsters, and heads alike can enjoy the excellent workmanship here.
From The Crown City Rocker’s forth coming release For What You’ve Lost
In 2001, a Hip Hop band hailing from Boston & Pasadena released an album called One. They were called Mission though shortly after they changed their name to Crown City Rockers. Their live show is one of the best you’ll ever see. Live instruments, dope emcees and an incredible vibe. This track is “Contagious” probably one of my favorites but they have 3 solid full-length releases out that you should check out and decide for yourself.
