So far this is my favorite song of 2016 I think. It’s been more than a decade since The Avalanches dropped Since I Left You and now they prepare to release Wildflower, almost out of nowhere. The first single features a funky calypso bounce, incomparable vocals provided by Danny Brown and MF Doom and made complete with Wilmoth Houdini sample. If this is what we have to look forward to then this album might be just as ground breaking as their debut effort. Wildflower will be released on July 8th.
