Michael Kiwanuka has an album dropping on May 27th, which means happy birthday to me! Love & Hate will be the sophomore release from the British soul singer who has drawn comparisons to everyone from Bill Withers to Randy Newman. Even Adele has taken note as he was invited to open up for her during her 2011 Live tour. “Black Man in A White World” is the first song from the album and receives a beautifully shot b&w video. I’m a sucker for soul claps, as well. So this thing is like a homerun to me. If you have a chance check out his debut album Home Again. Soul music is always relevant.
If you haven’t done so at this point, please do me this favor. Go to where ever it is you purchase music and get yourself a copy of Michael Kiwanuka’s Home Again, if you need any more convincing than the attached video then I don’t know what to tell you. This IS soul music
Please take a moment and run over here and purchase Mr. Kiwanuka’s album, Home Again, you will not be disappointed. I promise. The Ugandan singer/songwriter/awesome guy is killing it right now. There are a few different categories people are trying to place him in, but I’ll leave him alone and let him do his music his way. Kick back and enjoy….
