Monolith Monster is an album from Theory Hazit (Scribbling Idiots) and Cream Of Beats who are known collectively as DC Comets. The project dropped in March and was met with acclaim. The last cut on the album, “Intense” is a sort of posse cut featuring Wordsworth (Lyricist Lounge/Punch & Words) and Diana Theodora joining forces lyrically with Theory. It track is exactly what you might assume with a name as such. So how does one turn up the intensity? Simple you get Dert to remix the track and you add 1/3 of the underground legion Lightheaded, Ozay Moore to the mix and the result is instantaneous intensity the likes few ever see. The video is equally as such, you watch expect some sort of torturous outcome for our victim. Though things are not always what they seem. Buy D.C. Comets Monster Monolith by clicking the link below.

Ozay Moore, formerly known as Othello 1/3 of the Lightheaded (Ohmega Watts + Braille + Othello) crew, teams up with Stro Elliot of The Procussions for “Don’t Cry”. Boom bap + soulfulness x fresh bass line = this track. Ozay will be releasing Taking L’$ on Mellow Orange this year. You don’t have to wait to own this track though, it’s available for free download.
Back in 08/09, Lightheaded emcee, Othello & producer 14KT were to collaborate on a project called Takin’ Ls. Fast forward a few years and finally it looks like this project will see the light of day. FRSH SLCTS, the newly relaunched website, dropped two tracks today from said project. They also report that Othello will be dropping 2 new tracks every month for the rest of the year.
